When setting up a protected section on Onenote on my samsung fold6 it I enable the box that says use fingerprint next time but when I go to unlock it again it asks for the password again with the use fingerprint box still enabled. It never lets me use my fingerprint to unlock the sections. Anyone know a fix for this?

Pixel 9 user with Android 14 having same issue here. biometrics not working on One Note defaults to passcode.
Follows these steps, made sure it was uninstalled first. Did not work for me unfortunately on a Pixel 9 Pro XL.

I was able to use thumbprint to unlock my notes with my Pixel 6a but am no longer able to with my new pixel 8. Hoping this feature will be fixed soon!
I experienced the same issue yesterday with my new Google pixel 9 pro. I spent a lot of time reinstalling the app and restarting my phone multiple time. LKR307 'S recommendation worked like a charm in less than 2 minutes. Thank you!
