A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
Lina Khan needs to investigate this. We need unbundling of these subscriptions to allow for effective competition. Otherwise you get situations like this where you are being forced to pay for an inferior product (where a key feature has been missing for months and people lost data) because you need the Office Suite.
Moreover, the FTC should look at the fact that Microsoft doesn't allow its Office collaboration features unless one uses One Drive. This is anti-competitive behavior. Open it up to Dropbox, Google Drive, etc so customers have at least some solution that works especially when Microsoft's product doesn't work for months at a time.
Wishing MSFT the largest imaginable fine for how they are abusing their customers, who have high switching costs.
Hoping a law firm sees that many users don't have access to a key feature they are paying for - and initiates a class action lawsuit.
Hoping whichever underperforming, work-from-home product manager responsible for this wipes the crumbs off their pajamas and actions this at the highest priority.
PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!
