Watermark Error 400

All of a sudden, when inserting a picture watermark into MSWord. I am getting this

HTTP Error 400. The size of the request headers is too long..

I have cleared the cookies from Google Chrome.

Microsoft 365 and Office | Word | For home | Windows

    This is not a propper solution for the software we have to pay subscription each month!

    It is not a solution, but it is a way you can use the software until the bug is fixed, a workaround.

    Good day!

    I have found a temporary work around for the watermark issue.

    Open MS word Document

    ribbon>>File>>options>> under "general" click on privacy settings>>scroll to CONNECTED EXPERIENCES

    deselect the check box marked "Experiences that download online content"

    Restart the program. Open file and add custom watermark as usual. Click "Work offline" when prompted and the customer watermark feature will work as normal.

    Thank you John! Definitely a temporary workaround (as disabling connected experiences breaks other aspects of MS 365, and when disabling it, you disable it across the whole suite, rather than just for Word), but at least I can get my watermark in...

    Here's hoping that MS can actually pull finger and fix this bug...
