Watermark Error 400

I have a watermark Error 400 on word .

please infrom to solution.

Unchecking the settings that Stefan shows would also block a Watermark entered using the feature.

we have worked around the 'watermark' issue itself and got graphics into the documents, however, the fact that we cannot print these docs with the watermark is what's causing us the biggest issue.

Do you see the watermark in the print preview (in Word for Windows, click File > Print)?

At File > Options > Display, make sure that "Print drawings created in Word" and "Print background colors and images" are both selected.

The thing is, you do not really need the "Watermark" feature at all.

Watermarks, in Word, are graphics in the header that have a special tag on them to tell Word that they are a Watermark. That tag is used to delete it using the command or to replace it if you add another using the Watermark command. Except when using the Watermark feature, they do not matter.

You can simply edit the header and add the image yourself, setting it behind text and semi-transparant.
