Watermark Error 400

All of a sudden, when inserting a picture watermark into MSWord. I am getting this

HTTP Error 400. The size of the request headers is too long..

I have cleared the cookies from Google Chrome.

Microsoft 365 and Office | Word | For home | Windows

    Unchecking the settings that Stefan shows would also block a Watermark entered using the feature.

    Good day!

    I have found a temporary work around for the watermark issue.

    Open MS word Document

    ribbon>>File>>options>> under "general" click on privacy settings>>scroll to CONNECTED EXPERIENCES

    deselect the check box marked "Experiences that download online content"

    Restart the program. Open file and add custom watermark as usual. Click "Work offline" when prompted and the customer watermark feature will work as normal.

    On one laptop I was able to add a picture watermark to a document a couple of times and then started getting the HTTP 400 error every time. I sent the document and the image I wanted to use for the watermark to my desktop PC and tried it there. HTTP 400. I then sent the document and image to another laptop that doesn't get used much. When I tried to add the watermark to the document, I get a blank window.

    I also get the HTTP 400 error when I try to create a custom border in Publisher.
