Watermark Error 400

All of a sudden, when inserting a picture watermark into MSWord. I am getting this

HTTP Error 400. The size of the request headers is too long..

I have cleared the cookies from Google Chrome.

Microsoft 365 and Office | Word | For home | Windows

    This is not a propper solution for the software we have to pay subscription each month!

    If the watermark is anchored to the header, it will appear on all pages where that header appears (note that each section can have up to three different headers). See http://wordfaqs.ssbarnhill.com/AnchorToHeader.htm

    This still is an issue and it's now April.

    While there may be workarounds to add your watermark, the main problem is the alternatives do not allow the watermark to continue to other pages, it will only apply to the first page.

    For the watermark to continue, say for an invoice with more than one page, it should be added.

    This needs to be looked at.

    That doesn't work for me because I watermark my whole document and put text over it.

    Using this fix you cover up the watermark when putting in the text.
