Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
I am having the exact same issue on multiple Intune joined devices.

In the last several days I have noticed my laptop CPU fan blowing constantly. The culprit seems to be 4 identical processes using the same amount of CPU as each other continuously hovering at about 8-12%. This keeps the fan blowing 24/7.
The Task Manager shows the Process name as "Microsoft 365 and Office (32 bit)" and no Office applications are running. When I view the details the executable names are "odt____.tmp.exe" with the underscores representing some 3- 4-character hex value, e.g. C67A.
I can end the tasks but they come back after a time and the CPU fan turns on again.
What are these processes and can I turn them off?
TIA
BTW, I tried to include a screenshot, but the image upload doesn't work.

I am having the exact same issue on multiple Intune joined devices.
Please advice what this is and does it ever disappear? 2 processes disappeared yesterday when I restarted computer 2 times and today one process reappeared, fans started breathing like dragon again, taking 32% of CPU one process alone.
I also have this same issue on multiple computers. I noticed that when restarting the computer the processes go away although they then come back after some time. These processes take up quite a lot of cpu usage and in turn make the computer fan activate at a high speed. Would love to know the resolution to this issue.
I too have been having this issue, however, is only 1 user that is intune enrolled. last resort will be to wipe the device, but before doing so, I have opened a ticket with Microsoft.
Me too. Same problem here. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Office 365 and updating Windows, but that doesn't solve the problem.
