Authenticator App on Apple Vision Pro

Are there any immediate plans to bring the Authenticator app to the Vision Pro?

I was really excited to use the Vision Pro for my office apps with a major focus on Teams. Sadly, I am unable to use Teams with my corporate ID as I am required to have the Authenticator App on the device on which I am using Teams. As a result, I am unable to use the Teams app on the Vision Pro. Given that this is pretty common for large organizations, I am really surprised Microsoft did not prioritize this app for the Vision Pro.

Agree. Until Microsoft releases Authenticator for AVP, any promotion of this device for enterprise use feels disingenuous.

So unfortunate to see that no one from Microsoft is even bothering to engage on this issue. Without this support all the microsoft apps for majority of the enterprise orgs are rendered useless on the vision pro.

If someone from Microsoft is reading this, please engage - least you can do is provide a response !!

All this is good - Microsoft can enable all the 365 apps, but if Enterprises make it mandatory to do 2FA via Authenticator and Microsoft does not support this app on AVP, its just like Microsoft has manufactured a car that people can drive and use for daily commute, but they just have not manufactured the key that will start the car and make it drive-able :)

thought this example was befitting the situation we are all stuck in !

I just wanted to say I appreciate your post, and I share your pain and frustration. I’m assuming this is simply a resource allocation issue at Microsoft — although one would think the most valuable company in the world (by market cap) could find the resources to get this done in the 2+ months since the AVP was released. Microsoft’s public communications about the availability of Microsoft 365 on the AVP have been unclear, and their complete silence about this particular issue is disappointing.

3rd party or a new version of MS Authenticaror app?

Its a pity to see Microsoft dragging their feet on this and not even bothering to respond to anyone.
