Why am I unable to export PowerPoint as a pdf?

I am unable to export a PowerPoint as a pdf file. I get the error message , “can’t export file” telling me to try again later. Why is this happening? I am using the app but it is updated to the latest version.

    I tried downloading as a pdf on my desktop with the internet version of PowerPoint and it worked. I think it had something to do with the app for some reason. This same issue has happened with other PowerPoint slides on my iPad and phone, not sure why though because sometimes it works

    Can you create a PDF from a new blank file? How about other files? If the problem is with a single file, there is content in that file that PowerPoint doesn't know how to transform to a PDF.
