Excel won't print more than one copy

Friends,

I just downloaded MS Office 365 for Mac. Excel will not let me print more than one copy of a spreadsheet. I spent time on the phone with Canon trying to resolve the issue (I have Canon printers). It is not a Canon issue (they said). Note: I can print as many copies as I want from Word documents. Also, I had no issue with printing multiple copies from Excel Office 2016 for Mac on my older MacBook. The issue seems to be with 365.

On another note: Word 365 messed up a nearly 300 page document I opened from Office 2016. The pagination (formatting or something) is all different. Which, wouldn't be a problem, except that I'm still printing section by section as we go through it and now the page numbers don't align). Though, I can print as many copies as I want, even from this document - just not from Excel.

    Bob,

    I did what you suggested and it has no problem printing multiple copies on my Canon printer at home. So, the problem is in the interface between MS Office 365, my work print driver, and the Mac OS. Installing a different driver and setting it up as a different printer did not solve the issue. And, no, I only have 2 printers (well, one is installed twice making 3).

    I have the same problem - I have uninstall/reinstalled the printers but no luck.

    I can print multiple copies if I save as PDF and then print using Preview. But this is a lot of extra steps.

    That's my problem exactly. Pdf's print fine. I can even print on my home Canon printer multiple copies, just not on the one at work. Not sure why. I've given up momentarily on trying to find a solution. I hadn't yet deleted my printer, but when I installed it with a different driver as a separate printer - it had the same issue. So, I doubted that deleting my printers would help. Maybe eventually someone can figure it out.

    Hi,

    I've been having the same issue. No matter what I've tried MS Excel for Mac (v16.82) stubbornly refuses to print out multiple copies.

    However I've just noticed that it could be down to the file permissions?

    I moved the document from the current location to the desktop. Doing so I was prompted to input my logon credentials, which I duly did.

    Opened up the document from there and voila I was then able to print my required 50 copies.

    Strange, but obviously Excel has an issue with the document permissions which prevent multiple copies!?

    Go figure!!

    I am using 365 excel for Mac Studio m2 and if you go to print and where all pages is ticked change to selection then change copies to requirement and print it should work all other options mentioned don’t work. Word 365 works fine I don’t know why they differ.
