Excel won't print more than one copy

Friends,

I just downloaded MS Office 365 for Mac. Excel will not let me print more than one copy of a spreadsheet. I spent time on the phone with Canon trying to resolve the issue (I have Canon printers). It is not a Canon issue (they said). Note: I can print as many copies as I want from Word documents. Also, I had no issue with printing multiple copies from Excel Office 2016 for Mac on my older MacBook. The issue seems to be with 365.

On another note: Word 365 messed up a nearly 300 page document I opened from Office 2016. The pagination (formatting or something) is all different. Which, wouldn't be a problem, except that I'm still printing section by section as we go through it and now the page numbers don't align). Though, I can print as many copies as I want, even from this document - just not from Excel.

    Sorry Brian, this may be a waste of time:

    1. Click on the Apple menu and select System Preferences.
    2. Click on Printers & Scanners.
    3. Right-click (or control-click) on the list of printers on the left-hand side and select Reset printing system.
    4. Confirm that you want to reset the printing system by clicking on Reset.
    5. Restart your Mac.
    6. Add your printer back to the list of printers by clicking on the + button.

    After resetting the printing system and adding your printer back, try printing multiple copies from Excel again. Let me know if this solution works for you.

    Do you have any other options? I have several printers installed which I would have to reinstall, plus I have customized printing presets which I would lose if I reset my printers. On top of all of this, I already had Canon install a new printer, with a different (more up to date) driver, and it has the same problem as the other one. So I really doubt that this is the issue. I am hesitant to put myself through the work of reinstalling my printers and customizing them just to see if it will work. Especially when I can print just fine from other apps and even from Word!

    Brian, I agree. Best suggestion I have is to completely uninstall Office and reinstall a fresh clean version. This way you will know it is not Excel and must be something affecting it!

    Uninstall Office from a PC - Microsoft Support Scroll down to Option 2. Don't forget to 'restart' your computer to finish the process, 'not shutdown'

    PS: you can also runs system repair. It cannot do any harm. Open Command Prompt (Admin). Type> sfc /scannow (press enter)

    Settings>Update & Security>Troubleshoot>Additional Troubleshooters>Printer

    Pardon my ignorance, but how do I get to a command prompt on a Mac? I looked under settings and even searched for troubleshoot but could find nothing. Please give me simpler (I know - sorry) instructions. Assuming I know nothing.
