Excel won't print more than one copy

Friends,

I just downloaded MS Office 365 for Mac. Excel will not let me print more than one copy of a spreadsheet. I spent time on the phone with Canon trying to resolve the issue (I have Canon printers). It is not a Canon issue (they said). Note: I can print as many copies as I want from Word documents. Also, I had no issue with printing multiple copies from Excel Office 2016 for Mac on my older MacBook. The issue seems to be with 365.

On another note: Word 365 messed up a nearly 300 page document I opened from Office 2016. The pagination (formatting or something) is all different. Which, wouldn't be a problem, except that I'm still printing section by section as we go through it and now the page numbers don't align). Though, I can print as many copies as I want, even from this document - just not from Excel.

    Yes, you can completely uninstall Office on a Mac by following these steps:

    1. Quit all Office applications.
    2. Open the Applications folder and drag the Microsoft Office folder to the Trash.
    3. Empty the Trash.

    To repair the system on a Mac, you can use the built-in Disk Utility tool. Here's how:

    1. Open Disk Utility (you can find it in the Utilities folder within the Applications folder).
    2. Select your startup disk from the list on the left.
    3. Click on the First Aid button in the toolbar.
    4. Click on Run to start the repair process.

    Note that repairing the system may take some time, and you should not interrupt the process once it has started.

    This is another case of a Windows suggestion being thrown at a Mac user... There is no command prompt on a Mac. Terminal is comparable but Window statements are useless there. Neither is the specified path valid on a Mac.

    Nowhere do I see any indication of the edition of macOS being used. That's the most important consideration because printing is a function of the operating system, not the individual programs. However, different programs call for varying levels of service so it's entirely possible to incur problems when attempting to print from some programs but not when printing from others.

    If you have adopted Sonoma be sure that you have it fully updated. Version 14.2.1 is the present release. Earlier releases have been riddled with similar issues.

    (1) How to Verify and Repair a Disk From the OS X Command Line - YouTube Sorry forgot we are on a Mac. I do not know is this is the same as repairing the system as opposed to repairing the disc!

    It is just that I am out of ideas.
