I just downloaded MS Office 365 for Mac. Excel will not let me print more than one copy of a spreadsheet. I spent time on the phone with Canon trying to resolve the issue (I have Canon printers). It is not a Canon issue (they said). Note: I can print as many copies as I want from Word documents. Also, I had no issue with printing multiple copies from Excel Office 2016 for Mac on my older MacBook. The issue seems to be with 365.
On another note: Word 365 messed up a nearly 300 page document I opened from Office 2016. The pagination (formatting or something) is all different. Which, wouldn't be a problem, except that I'm still printing section by section as we go through it and now the page numbers don't align). Though, I can print as many copies as I want, even from this document - just not from Excel.

The files I used, while on my own system, were all freshly created, and with just the word: test on it.
I can see that it all seem's to boil down to something with Microsoft Office: Excel for Mac, sadly.
You should try creating a brand new Excel worksheet and then you will find that you CAN print any number of copies that would like. If you happen to print, say, 5 copies on that very first printing, you will find that it will print those 5 copies. But the next and every time after that it will always print exactly 5 copies with no way to change the number. If you transfer that Excel file to another Mac, you will find that it also will only print 5 copies regardless of what printer or MacOS version is being used.
But your previously-created Excel workbooks will still be locked into printing single copies because that's how many copies were printed the FIRST TIME they were printed.
This clearly shows that it is an Microsoft EXCEL problem and not related to anything else.
If it is a simple sheet, you could export it as a PDF file or open it in Apple's Numbers app and then be able to print any desired number of copies.
Adding to the list of users with this issue
Issue raised by staff running macOS Ventura (13.6.6) w. Microsoft 2021.
At the time of this issue (not being able to print more than one copy), the Konica Minolta Bizhub C308 printer driver had been freshly installed without configurations/modifications.
All basics were tried: all printers removed, Excel & Word updated to latest, full computer restart, followed by re-adding printer w. drivers and testing.
Issue continued with Microsoft Excel only.
Microsoft Word was able to print multiple copies, as well as both Acrobat and Preview or any other test app (eg Chrome).
Employee needed to return to work, so I went to test on my system: macOS Sonoma (14.5 -latest), Microsoft Office 365 (latest/all updates), with the latest Konica Minolta drivers and the issue was recreated.
I use Excel in a very basic way, so there are no add-ons, preference changes or such to consider. The computer was also fully restarted. The file used for testing was a newly created spreadsheet with just the word: test.
Nonetheless Microsoft Excel was reset via the Terminal w. the following command:
$ defaults delete com.microsoft.Excel
There should be no permission issues, but I went ahead and saved the test file to Desktop. Restarted the unit, and tried again: Issue persisted.
As noted by everyone else, other apps appear to print multiple copies without an issue, all except for Excel.

I retired 24 years ago. AFAIK they are still using PC's and Windows as standards. I switched to Macs in 2012.
