Microsoft should be sue class action for copying and deleting all my files from my computer and moving it OneDrive cloud space without letting the user know...to get more money and subscription, MS has moved all my files onto Cloud and deleted from my C: drive!

This is done without the users permission or letting the user know of deleting files from the local drive.

I can understand if it copies to OneDrive location on the CLOUD.

NOw it has also made multiple copies and when I want a file I connot find it even!

What MS has done is by virtue of owning the desktop, they are forcing people to use OneDrive and moving files and filling it up on OneDrive so Microsoft can charge more money for cloud space when I did not want to remove it from my local hard drive and keep it on the cloud to begin with.

Now I had too many directories under Documents, they are saying I will have to copy one by one; that too create a zip for each directory and restore it....no easy way back from MS Cloud OneDrive back to the local hard drive.

This is unacceptable and created headaches for many users!!

Now I have to put in a lot of hours to reconstuct my files...

    It's not under your control because your director, and their GM, and their vp, and their CVP are literally signing off on LAZY, SUB STANDARD, INEPT, FAILURES vs. canning them and hiring PRODUCTIVE, ETHICAL PROFESSIONALS. I KNOW BECAUSE I SAW WHAT THESE SO-CALLED EXECUTIVES DO. The best you can do is for an ethical, professional company, apply with them then submit your resignation. You're not doing yourself any favors staying with the sinking ship.

    To say it's highly illegal is being kind. The things these people in that company are doing can send a lot of them to prison. Like I said below, at least Steve ballmer made heads roll if anyone broke the law and that new group was just the beginning. Allowing the port of directors to usurp this new group and create a new vendor/ contractor designation only set them up for bigger punishment. Like I said you continue ticking off people, you will eventually get to ticking off the wrong person. No quarter, and absolutely zero mercy for dirty, unethical, lazy corporate thieves did not only signed off on illegal behavior but literally worked to find a way around avoiding ethical lawful behavior.

    It 100% does.

    It deleted all of my pictures.

    OneDrive deleted all 68,638 files in 1,157 folders (totaling 428GB) off of my hard drive. Every picture I have ever taken.

    This was the response from their "support team":

    Hello there,

    It is really hard for me to say that in this situation, there is no possibility for recovering the data. Trust me, if there had been a single percentage of chance, I would have taken it before cascading the sad news. I can understand how important your data would have been and to be honest, I am equally sad while delivering this message.

    The worst feeling, I always get is by saying sorry to a customer which came to seek help just like you and I couldn't due to such undecided, unfortunately helpless situation. I know this isn't the answer you are looking for but again being your OneDrive adviser, my job is to help you with the best of my ability and here I fail due to such situation which isn't under my control. I hope you understand my limitation.
