Microsoft should be sued class action by users for copying and deleting all files from local computer without notifying the user!!

I had a similar issue. I'm taking online classes and my computer has a 4TB HD, so it had plenty of space for my documents. I just found out that a document that I had SPECIFICALLY and INTENTIONALLY saved to the drive on my PC was instead saved to my onedrive, which was full, so it deleted all the work I had done as a punishment for not giving them money. ONEDRIVE IS A SCAM!!! Fortunately, you can disable it, but now I have to redo all the work I had done because Access won't allow me to open the file after downloading it from where I had submitted it. F--- you, miscrosoft!

**** you Microsoft and i hope you are sued into dissolvement so your **** stranglehold on the PC market can finally be broken and your asses put in your places. I NEVER CONSENTED TO ONEDRIVE BUT YOU FORCED IT ONTO MY COMPUTER, MOVED FILES OVER, BROKE SEARCH ENGINE TOOLS, AND GOT NOTHING SO SHOW FOR IT BUT SORRY **** EXCUSES. How **** dare you.

I find it interesting that the transfer of your files, photographs etc to OneDrive is absolutely seamless, so much so that you don't even know that its happening. But to stop the steal and retrieve your own documents is extremely laborious and most people seem to have difficulty with the process. Its almost as if it was meant to be that way. Oh, wait a minute....!

I will join in any class action. What terrible thieving company they are. When they lose they cheat, now they are copying Google browser tabs to fool you in thinking you're on chrome. Microsoft you stole my files.

Same thing happened to me. I thought I was going crazy. I knew I saved several things to my new laptop in early 2023. I created a folder on my OneDrive. After creating all these documents, I didn't need to use them again until this year. I KNEW I saved them. I even save different versions of the documents depending on the name of the company it pertains to. They're all gone. I'm using the "free" OneDrive version with 5GB storage. I didn't even realize that Microsoft was copying my stuff to the cloud and deleting things once I hit my 5GB limit, but it continued to add recent things. I'm a student and part of my things that were deleted were things from my Spring 2023 semester. I am upset. Not sure how this is even legal. The thought never crossed my mind that I'd run out of space on my own laptop that has plenty of storage. I don't care about OneDrive and didn't realize I was even using it when I saved things to Documents. I thought it was saving to my computers hard drive.
