Each time I press the READ ALOUD button, it gives me this error message:

"To choose what voice you hear while using Read Aloud, sign in with your Microsoft account."

But I am signed into my MS account.

It appears that my credentials cannot be verified. When this happens, MS Word defaults to the 3 built-in voices.

Any ideas?

Looks like it's now been fixed (11:30am (UK) time).

Restart your computers.

    i have just tried it and it does not work for me so i brought natural readers it was about £88.

    Maybe Microsft wants to start charging extra for the nice authentic natural voices. After seeing that alternative cost as much as £88 maybe they would then offer theirs at £49.99. :)

    The natural Female and Male voices are back for me again after restarting Microsoft Word. Maybe the problem has been resolved again.

    I had word from my contact at Microsoft that they were looking into it. Perhaps someone pulled a switch.
