Each time I press the READ ALOUD button, it gives me this error message:
"To choose what voice you hear while using Read Aloud, sign in with your Microsoft account."
But I am signed into my MS account.
It appears that my credentials cannot be verified. When this happens, MS Word defaults to the 3 built-in voices.
Any ideas?

Looks like it's now been fixed (11:30am (UK) time).
Restart your computers.
As of today, 7/15/23, this issue isn't resolved. I am still having problems with Read Aloud. Anyone got any updates?

Im having the same problem, MS have broken it! I've logged the bug. Lets hope they find a quick fix
I have the same dilemma. I am used to listening to Jenny Microsoft (natural) and it's all gone. I wasted my time looking for answers online and I'm miserable. Microsoft please HELP.
