"To choose what voice you hear while using Read Aloud, sign in with your Microsoft account."

Each time I press the READ ALOUD button, it gives me this error message:

"To choose what voice you hear while using Read Aloud, sign in with your Microsoft account."

But I am signed into my MS account.

It appears that my credentials cannot be verified. When this happens, MS Word defaults to the 3 built-in voices.

Any ideas?

Looks like it's now been fixed (11:30am (UK) time).

Restart your computers.

I logged into my 2nd pc, a laptop, hoping for a different result. Nope. Messed up on all my windows devices at once.

This is still happening to me. when it's done it in the past, i've been able re-log in and fix the problem. Today, nothing seems to help, and it's the same on all my devices. l've re-logged in several times and re-started.

please help,

Having the same problem now September 22nd. I am signed in, my subscription is paid, yet it keeps telling me I need to sign in to use the immersive voices. Is there a way to fix this or do we just patiently wait for Microsoft to do something?
