A family of Microsoft word processing software products for creating web, email, and print documents.
Hi guys -
Looks like it's now been fixed (11:30am (UK) time).
Restart your computers.
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Each time I press the READ ALOUD button, it gives me this error message:
"To choose what voice you hear while using Read Aloud, sign in with your Microsoft account."
But I am signed into my MS account.
It appears that my credentials cannot be verified. When this happens, MS Word defaults to the 3 built-in voices.
Any ideas?

i deleted all the MS credentials and rebooted
but no dice
it seems to have just auto-created the credential at startup
There is one for MicrosoftLive, that isn't the one you want. There is a Microsoft Login that worked for me.
Does that work?
When i go to "Credential Manager" i dont see a 365 listing
I see a microsoft one though
I'm experiencing the same issue! It doesn't make any logical sense to me. As a book author, I find Microsoft David in Read Aloud to be incredibly disruptive during proofreading. I can't understand why Microsoft would develop such a terrible, complicated, and error-ridden system for adding simple natural voices to Word's read aloud feature. I'm determined to find a solution to this problem. I'll update you as soon as I figure it out.
