Editor's similarity checker not working

3/25 It's back!

I'm not sure if it works on every document, but it worked on one of mine!

(Edit on 4/26) It works on some documents but not on others... Does anyone else have the same problem?

Someone in the comment section said "The latest word, as of today, is "The latest update in the bug is that there are still some approvals that the team is waiting on. The Word team is treating this as a high-priority incident and is working to have this restored as soon as possible.". So anyone wondering for any updates, there it is...

    At least one user has reported that it is back with v. 2403 of M365. I have updated to v. 2403 and can confirm that I am seeing it.

    I used the "new" Similarity function. It doesn't seem to work very well. An article I wrote came up 0 similarity but the entire article appears on a website.
