Editor's similarity checker not working

3/25 It's back!

I'm not sure if it works on every document, but it worked on one of mine!

(Edit on 4/26) It works on some documents but not on others... Does anyone else have the same problem?

Someone in the comment section said "The latest word, as of today, is "The latest update in the bug is that there are still some approvals that the team is waiting on. The Word team is treating this as a high-priority incident and is working to have this restored as soon as possible.". So anyone wondering for any updates, there it is...

    Hello Suzanne thanks for your updates, there are news about it? Since the last update was two weeks ago i dont really know if I can rely on Word and its function, i really need it and the amount of time is taking is something is worrying me.

    Yes, I really need this, also. I hope they get their act together soon. Afterall, we are paying for a function that does not work.

    I installed Mircosoft 365 v2403 a couple of minutes ago. Guess what? The similarity checker is back - and it works! :)
