I'm not sure if it works on every document, but it worked on one of mine!
(Edit on 4/26) It works on some documents but not on others... Does anyone else have the same problem?

Someone in the comment section said "The latest word, as of today, is "The latest update in the bug is that there are still some approvals that the team is waiting on. The Word team is treating this as a high-priority incident and is working to have this restored as soon as possible.". So anyone wondering for any updates, there it is...

The OP has reported it fixed, but many users disagree, and I haven't heard anything from Microsoft.
Not fixed and I've been trying all day.

I'm surprised Microsoft isn't giving this the highest priority - similarity checker is an important part of its Office product and it clearly isn't working. We all pay a subscription, so should be getting a product in full working order.
OP updated again on 12/16 to say it was not working for them anymore either.
I already reported it through the Feedback option weeks ago. Is there anything else we can do to bring more attention or get an update from Microsoft? I need this feature for work.
