hi,

I am using macOS. I drew a figure on visio online. Now I want to copy it to my local machine's Word document. When I copy-paste it, it pastes as an image. but I want it to be editable. I also tried to save the drawn figure in visio format. but in word document i could not find an option for importing visio files (i searched the object tab).

How do i transfer it to doc file as an editable object?

    Dear Tanvir Ibna Kaisar,

Good day!! Thanks for posting your concern in this Microsoft Community.

As per the description shared, I understand your concern i.e., you would like to transfer the drawings in the Visio drawing file into the Word document and make it editable.

If my understanding is correct, to my knowledge there is no out of the box way to insert the Visio diagram into the Word document and there is no object type to insert the Visio file into the Word document.

In this situation, I suggest you to add your valuable idea as feedback in the Word · Community (microsoft.com) which is the best place to share our ideas and improve the Microsoft products.

In addition, I will keep this thread open so that Word MVPs and experts can share their ideas and experience on your requirement.

Appreciate your understanding and patience. Have a great day!!

    Sincerely,

    Mia | Microsoft Moderator
