OneNote Web Clipper will not sign in

OneNote Web Clipper extension on Microsoft Edge stopped working after I cleared browser caches with CC Cleaner.

It worked for a long time, but now it completely stopped working. It asks me to sign in, so I get this:

After I click on Sign in with a Microsoft Account, a window appears but there is no sign in flow, it does nothing but shows me a page "Get OneNote Web Clipper".

I'm unable to sign in, it appears that the login flow is broken. I'm already signed in to my personal Microsoft account throughout my apps and in my browser. I can access the OneNote application and https://onenote.com/ site without issues.

Please help if there is another workaround to mitigate this issue. If there's no fix I can't use the Web Clipper extension anymore.

Same problem here, furthermore Microsoft also removed the OneNote Web Clipper from Firefox on July 8th (probably to move more people to Edge).

So, not only broken but wilfully disabled on non-Microsoft browsers.

Maybe if enough of us use the feedback function at the bottom left of OneNote Clipper, Microsoft will do something.

Same problem here. You can select print on a page and print a note to OneNote but only locally, which you then have to sync to the web. Sooo not helpful. And this comes after I just moved from Evernote to OneNote, and now realizing that one of the biggest features for me, the web clipper, is totally useless. :(

Hi, I followed you advice (Win 10). However, couldn't find your feedback in the list of the suggested similar feedbacks (lol). At least, one more feedback. ^^

Adding to my earlier entry. I can use Onenote from Outlook to capture email. Also, I can use Snagit to save screen captures as a workaround until Microsoft gets off its rear ends and addresses the issue.

Ann, I'm sorry, but I can't find where to up vote your report.

I've put in multiple Feedback reports but I don't even know where to see those.

Can you please give me (us) directions or post a link?

    Thanks,

    Saroj

I couldn't even find my own report. For some reason, my personal and work accounts show different results when I search on OneNote Clipper.

Once you hold the Windows key down and then type F, and then log in (if prompted), it may take you to any of the pages on the left. Click Feedback, then All feedback, and then search on "OneNote clipper". If my report about this current problem doesn't show up, at least one or two others should show up. Click on upvote on each of them. You can also click the "Give Similar Feedback" if you want to go the extra mile, but it isn't like we are all seeing something slightly different. It is the exact same problem and the screenshots in this thread explain it perfectly.
