Sharepoint Thumbmail not diplaying - Reserved

For the situation you encountered, we deeply understand the inconvenience caused and apologize for it.

As per your description, it seems like you're experiencing an issue with uploading pictures in SharePoint list for Image column using PowerApps.  

Based on my test, it seems I cannot meet the same behaviour as like you described above.

As the problem can be caused by different reason

1.Check if there have been any recent changes or updates to your PowerApps environment or SharePoint lists.

2.Check your image column default JSON formatting is:

{ "$schema": "https://developer.microsoft.com/json-schemas/sp/v2/column-formatting.schema.json"}

Or changed formatting to the below and see the outcomes:

{ "$schema": "https://developer.microsoft.com/json-schemas/sp/v2/column-formatting.schema.json","elmType": "img","style": {"width": "100px"},"attributes": {"src": "@currentField"}}

3.Also try to reduce the image to less than 50 megapixels,

4.Also, if possible, could you please try to change the new SharePoint Online List view to see if there is any difference.

1.Does the issue happen to a specific SharePoint online List?

This did not work.

When I recreate the list it works, but I've noticed there was a change where pictures from image/thumbmail column are going into.

Before the link to images were like that: MySite.sharepoint.com/sites/MyTeam/SiteAssets/Lists/ListsUID/filename.jpg
where ListUID was a random GUID number.

Now the link is like that: MySite.sharepoint.com/sites/MyTeam/Lists/ListName/Attachments/ID/filename.jpg

And it doesn't matter if I upload the image from powerapps or directly from sharepoint list - the effect is exactly the same.

Was there some kind of recent update? Or is it possible that some kind of settings that were changed globally by our admin team? If so, what did they do?

Also having this issue, a list that was working perfectly fine before will no longer properly allow image uploads.

Have tried uploading images via:

1. SharePoint List - Edit Item
2. SharePoint List - Edit in Grid View
3. New MS Lists - Edit Item
4. New MS Lists - Edit in Grid View

As seen in Rafals screenshots the images are going up with "broken" thumbnails and the words "Reserved_ImageAttachment". If you click on the broken thumbnail the image will open up, but it doesnt display in the list and it won't display in linked powerapps.

We've done a lot of searches on our side, and we have not found any documented official article about the recent change or update currently, given this situation, as forum support, we may not have enough permission and resources to give out the conclusion for now. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Considering that different users from different tenants are encountering a similar situation, issue could be related to background service which need to be checked from the backend.

For you to be assisted properly, we'd recommend you contact your admin to create a support ticket from Microsoft 365 Admin Center > Support > New service request. The support team over there has higher permission than us, they can remotely help check the situation on your side, involve more resource to collect logs and help you do troubleshoot, they can also involve more resources to investigate and confirm the scenario with you.

For reference: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Docs, please select online support or phone support to have a live chat with the support engineers.  This is the most efficient way for handling this case as per the situation. Hi guys, any update about this? I have the same issue.

I thought it was my classic sharepoint site, but i tried to do in Modern Sharepoint Site, and same thing happend, :(
It doesnt matter if I upload images from powerapps or directly from sharepoint. Thats new issue. Please let me know if you know something to fix this broken preview.
