Visio for web, where are layers?

Hi,

I've been trying to follow the instructions for creating layers, Visio / Format pages/ Basics /Use layers to set properties for multiple shapes:

But this doesn't seem to apply to Visio for the web. Nor is there a Visio app for Mac.

Is there a workaround?

    Dear ORTF,

    Thanks for posting in Microsoft community. We are glad to help you.

    Based on the official article, this feature was only supported in desktop version of Visio applications. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this limitation.

    You may try if you could run a Windows virtual machine on your Mac so you could install the desktop version of Visio.
