My computer is continusly asking me to sign into my microsoft 365 account through outlook or in settings. I put my password in, then 30 minutes later it asks for it again. Today I got the error message 29 stating it could not update my license. I checked to make sure it was active and my billing was updated and all was good. Please advise.

    This is what worked for me:

    1. Uninstalling all office apps (including OneDrive).
    2. Disconnecting my Microsoft Account with my computer.
    3. Following this step from https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/troubleshoot/activation/reset-office-365-proplus-activation-state#sectiona

    (pic attached) - opening Registry Editor:

    HKEY_USERS -> .DEFAULT -> Software -> Microsoft -> Office -> 16.0 -> Common -> Identity

    You must remove Identity

    1. Installing Office 365 again from account.microsoft.com

    Same problem. Endless loops of signing in to no avail

    How many complaints about this does it take before Microsoft dignifies us with an answer?
