I am getting an error code 29 "Unable to update license" When attempting to sign into microsoft 365

My computer is continusly asking me to sign into my microsoft 365 account through outlook or in settings. I put my password in, then 30 minutes later it asks for it again. Today I got the error message 29 stating it could not update my license. I checked to make sure it was active and my billing was updated and all was good. Please advise.

    Appears to be a known error... Error code 29 when starting O365 - Microsoft Community

    Experiencing the exact same issue with Office 365 and Copilot Pro.
    Fighting with it for days only to be advised by Level 2 this morning after pushing issue... Dang

    * Looks like removing Copilot will create more problems after reading this post. Cheers all

    Same has just happened to me. Subscribed to CoPilot Pro yesterday with my Family M365 subscription - being prompted on opening every office app each time. Has Microsoft even acknowledged the issue - seems a common problem now?

    Same situation. Just moments ago purchased Copilot pro. Was given the instruction to "update license" but, upon doing so, get error 29. Uninstalling and reinstalling Office doesn't help. I'm activated, but no Copilot.

    Having read these replies, I am now concerned about even cancelling my subscription. Will that break my Office?!?

    Before I cancel Copilot, it always seems to work with the new Outlook but is unstable in Word, often disappearing after rebooting.
