My computer is continusly asking me to sign into my microsoft 365 account through outlook or in settings. I put my password in, then 30 minutes later it asks for it again. Today I got the error message 29 stating it could not update my license. I checked to make sure it was active and my billing was updated and all was good. Please advise.

Sounds like u r missing an office update and it is not applying.

You can force the update from the File, Accounts, Update Button.

Purcheds Copilot Pro but i didn't have the buttons in excel or word

I did the whole update license didn't work there were some updates still nothing

joined the insider beta and experimental there was an update but nothin

i cancled copilot and purchased it again nothing

theni got the log in problem code 29

then i unstalled and completely downloaded again

reinstalled still got the code 29 but I do now have the buttons

but i still have the code 29

I should probably add that i did originally have my office connected to a school account first and then switched to the personal license. Looking at the other replies that might have something to do with the issue

Same here. Dev build 26058 Win 24H2.

Resubscribed to Copilot Pro. Error code 29 a thing of the past.

Latest Windows updates now seem to have fixed the problem for me, but I did also have to disconnect and reconnect my Work or school account:

Go to Settings >Accounts >Access work or school, disconnect the account, then click on Connect in front of Add a work or school account and follow other on-screen prompts to connect your device with Azure.
