ClipChamp available for A5 Educational licence

With the removal of Video Editor on Windows 10, we thought we could use Clipchamp.

But even with the announcement of Clipchamp for business we can't get access with a A5 licence.

Will Clipchamp be included in Educational licences soon?

Hello everyone - thanks so much for commenting here and on other sites such as the Clipchamp feedback portal. It certainly helps us respond and prioritise our work.

Today I can share another update, we have an EDU launch announcement for Clipchamp coming to A3 & A5 SKUs (students and staff) - https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/education-blog/what-s-new-in-microsoft-edu-may-2024/ba-p/4132818 

We're preparing further information that we'll make available on the Microsoft 365 roadmap and in the message center for your M365 admins soon.

    Hello,

    We're rolling out Clipchamp across EDU tenants through July and August. You can accelerate your individual activation by visiting the Stream homepage at microsoft365.com/launch/stream and watching any video. You don't need to watch the entire video. Just wait for the page to load to complete.

    This will help prioritize your license activation and you should be able to access Clipchamp within approx. 4 hours. If you experience any access issues beyond this, connect with your organization's Microsoft 365 administrator who can contact support.

    It's finally showing in my A5 accounts, but it still doesn't work. Says "Clipchamp is not available for you" even though I have a license assigned.

    Our Microsoft SfMC rep says it should be release this month. I guess we just wait and see if it actually get rolled out this month....as of today, we still don't have it in our tenant A3/A5 license plans.

    EDIT: I can see the license entitlement for our A3/A5 licenses, so looks like this is on a roll!
