S pen writing not shown on OneNote android app until lift off screen. Any idea how to fix?

Based on your description, S pen doesn't work properly on OneNote for Android app.

To check whether the problem is related to OneNote on Android device, could you please try to write in other non-Office applications and OneNote for the web on Android to see the results?

If your pen works well on OneNote for the web and other non-Office applications, you can follow the steps below:

1. Check if there is an available update for your OneNote application. If there is, kindly update on that.
2. Reset OneNote on your android device:(Before Reset OneNote for android device please note make sure that all contents are synced or have backup. )

If the problem persists, may I know whether you use personal account or work/school account to login to OneNote?

Hi Jazlyn,

Thank you very much for you reply to my question. I did actually cover your suggestions before I asked my question to the group. I actually uninstalled the app and then install it again. I have three accounts logged in on my OneNote Android app on my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, they are two work accounts, as I am a consultant, and my personal account.

Since you have already tried most suggestions, and the problem persists, we recommend that you feedback on this issue to OneNote Team. You can open OneNote > select your profile picture in the top left. Then choose Send Feedback, and write this issue.

At the same time, I understand that this is an urgent problem. I sincerely suggest you create a support ticket for this problem. The engineers there have the escalation channels to deal with such problems. They also have the right to view the problems remotely and have more resources to further deal with OneNote problems.

• If you are using a work/school account, you can contact the administrator in your company/school and follow the steps in the article to open a ticket.
• If you are using a personal account, we suggest that you can contact phone support on this page: Contact Microsoft Support.

To not delay your work, as a workaround, we recommend that you can choose to use OneNote for the web to see if it has the problem.

I experience the very same issue on my ultra 22. No fix yet. My work suffers from this.

Thank you. I can use all other versions of OneNote but not the OneNote app on my S22 Ultra phone. Which is my main writing tool. I have become increasingly frustrated with the lack of capability to support the full M365 suite.
