PDF links to SharePoint files not working on iPhone.

My school is sending home newsletters in the form of PDFs. These PDFs are hosted on a SharePoint site. The PDF Newsletters have links to other PDFs that are also hosted on the same SharePoint site. All of the links are set to "anyone can open". The issue is that when parents open the newsletters from their iPhone, it asks them to log into a Microsoft account. This doesn't happen if the newsletter is opened from any other device. Many of our parents use iPhone, so I'm looking for a solution.

    I understand your concern and to my knowledge, the behavior observing when opening the Anyone with this links in the PDF's is strange because the same links are able to open without any sign-in prompt when opening in the other OS devices.

    Since it happens only with iPhone devices, I believe the problem needs to be further checked by the related development team by collecting the logs. I suggest you raise a support ticket from the Office 365 admin center, where the related team will investigate the problem further by collecting the logs.
