One Drive Not Working with Mac OS 14 Sonoma

My OneDrive is not syncing with Mac OS Sonoma.

I am getting the "you must restart OneDrive to continue syncing this location" message.

File access and copying are not working. The Finder hangs on "preparing to copy…" The copy never happens and I have lost access on the Mac to all of my OneDrive files. I can see them. They are one the OneDrive server. But, on the Mac I cannot open the file, download or copy to another location.

As all of my work is in the OneDrive Folder, I am frozen out of all of my files.

    Indeed, OneDrive is the buggiest application I have encountered recently. It is slow as molasses to sync (e.g., on a 1GB/s connection it has been syncing a 1MB file for the last hour), often fails to do so, sometimes creates fake duplicates (where it believes there is multiple simultaneous edits, when there isn't), quits on its own several times per day, and often blocks files. Why can't MS just buy Dropbox and use its tech instead of this crappy in-house development?

    Any news? It's very frustrating used only internal drive, I don't have enough space. For a professional use I need use an external drive.
