Transcription stopping at 94%

Hi when i am trying to do audio transcriptions in word online and it stops when it gets to 94%

I have checked my storage and I have lots of room

Microsoft 365 and Office | Word | For education | MacOS

Hi Michele Macchi,

I believe Microsoft did fix this after about 3 weeks. I am currently accessing it through a blank Word document from my desktop and not online. However, I can also access it through my Outlook account online. Maybe you can try updating your Microsoft Office or 365. I'm not sure why it started working for me again. I was never notified by Microsoft or anyone. I just took a break from it for 3 weeks and then decided to try it through Outlook and it worked. Then I tried it off-line and it worked. It has been working ever since.

I know how frustrating this can be as most of us use it for production in our field of work. But hang in there, the Microsoft community does respond.

    Use Word online. THAT WORKS!

    I use the online version and it has been working fine until today, 9/19/2023, it will only go to 94% again.

    I know Microsoft is working on this and it seems to work for some and not for others. I started having trouble way back in August for about 4 days, then it started working again for me at the same time for others it still stopped at 94%.

    Microsoft has a message at the bottom of the right-hand window that states "You can now upload unlimited minutes of audio for transcription. This may change in the future, so try it now." So for now, limited minutes is not the issue.

    I am grateful that Microsoft has created this program. We have all become dependent on it so I hope it gets fixed for good.

    Error persists for me. But it's stopping at 54%. I have tried every troubleshooting that I have been able to find (Clearing cache, waiting, trying a different file, trying a different browser. Changing the language) No change, no results.
