Hi when i am trying to do audio transcriptions in word online and it stops when it gets to 94%

I have checked my storage and I have lots of room

Microsoft 365 and Office | Word | For education | MacOS

Hi Michele Macchi,

I believe Microsoft did fix this after about 3 weeks. I am currently accessing it through a blank Word document from my desktop and not online. However, I can also access it through my Outlook account online. Maybe you can try updating your Microsoft Office or 365. I'm not sure why it started working for me again. I was never notified by Microsoft or anyone. I just took a break from it for 3 weeks and then decided to try it through Outlook and it worked. Then I tried it off-line and it worked. It has been working ever since.

I know how frustrating this can be as most of us use it for production in our field of work. But hang in there, the Microsoft community does respond.

    Same issue here as of 8th Sep.

    No solution found so far.

    Tried with small file (.wav 217 KB), still stopped at 94%.

    Need to be fixed.

    Hi there

    I am having the same issue, transcription is stopping at 94% and doing that for all sound files, no matter what the size is. I have checked my OneDrive storage space and have ample space there so that's not an issue. This is hindering my productivity big time and my turnaround times are affected - can you plesae look into this urgently and give me a solution?

    I am experiencing the same problem. OneNote and Word both stop transcribing at 94%. I have tried different sized files 1MB to 32MB and received the same result. Is there an ETA for when this will be fixed?

    Same problem stopping at 94% on Sept 7, 23. It is working on line ok so as a work around, log into your Microsoft account on line and use the on line version of Word.
