This continues to be a PIMA, can I simply REMOVE Auto Formatting pencil? If I want it, I'll add it, and deal with challenges at that point.
I swiped down pages, sections and notebooks. Sometimes bug is gone and sometimes keep in text mode.

If you are using a personal account such as ******@outlook.com, you can access support via Contact - Microsoft Support and select Contact Support and then you should be able to select Chat with a support agent in your web browser to find a person and they may involve more resources to help you fix the issue.
If you are using a work or school account such as ******@contoso.com or ******@contoso.onmicrosoft.com, you can contact the administrator if you aren't the administrator and let him follow the steps in Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn to open a support ticket or use the phone support.
The administrator is always the first person who subscribes the Microsoft 365 business subscription or the IT administrator in your organization.

@CryptikKa, generally, you may click on the pen you added and scroll down to the bottom to delete it via Delete. If you can't delete it, it is another issue and I suggest you post a new thread on our forum for expert help.

I've noticed this as well since the last update. I though it was just me at the start but know this wasn't this unusable before.
It makes me look like I dont know what I'm doing in front of clients.

OneNote 17.72.2
I looked at What's New and saw Scribble; It was enabled in iPad Pencil Settings. I disabled it and AutoFormat Pen deactivated. Problem solved for me! (Solution might help with others?) Thanks for taking the time and effort to follow up on my question!
