One Note keeps switching from drawing (Apple Pencil) to Text Mode. I am using the App on an iPad.

As you are using a Microsoft 365 enterprise subscription, I suggest you contact the administrator if you aren't the administrator and let him follow the steps in Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn to open a support ticket or use the phone support as soon as possible so that they can help you fix the issue at their side directly.

The administrator is always the first person who subscribes the Microsoft 365 business subscription or the IT administrator in your organization.

This has been an issue going on for a long time and Microsoft seem unwilling or unable to sort the issue out.

I keep seeing the same fix suggestions but not permanent fix.

Is it not possible for Microsoft to admit that is a big issue here and the get the problem sorted.

It is extremely frustration for us iPad/Pencil OneNote users.

Please can you address this issue responsibly.

Males me long to be able to use Notability but unfortunatley we are an MS Enterprise customer.

I looked at What's New and saw Scribble; It was enabled in iPad Pencil Settings. I disabled it and AutoFormat Pen deactivated. Problem solved for me! (Solution might help with others?)

Hi,

I'm not sure if this solution can help you, but you can try it.

I export my whole notebook to my computer and deleted the online notebook (please make sure you export the notebook correctly or you lose your data.).

Then I import the notebook again. ( I import the notebook to a different account. But you can try to import it into the original account.)

So far, the bug seldom appears, even if it appears, I can solve it by just shutting down the Onenote app and reopening the app.

I wish this solution can solve your problem.
