One Note keeps switching from drawing (Apple Pencil) to Text Mode. I am using the App on an iPad.

Well it is not ok and it does the same thing. Back to text mode. The only, in front of a customers - beyond embarasing thnig, solution baypass is a lassso tool and then back to draw mode. Until I want to change a pen colour again.

This is now a problem for 4 full months.

Yes I have a business standard licence of O 365, but I am a one man band.

If it was working for a few years and simply stopped it must be a simple solution to start working again.

You on Microsoft side just have to put attention on it for 2 hours.

If you now want to tell me I should contact my IT admin, well I would actually like you contact someone from your Microsoft , in private time, to solve this.

As similar issues may have different root causes and the suggestions listed above may not be applied to the issues in your environment, please contact the administrator if you aren't the administrator and let him open a support ticket to our related team so that they can follow up on the specific issue with you and help you fix it as soon as possible.

Completely agree. I am fed up seeing weak responses from Microsoft asking us to try out fixes that have already been shown not to work. Microsoft are not taking this serious enough, it has been going on for far too long. I can see updates coming through for OneNote on the iPad but this bug is still not fixed - and I have tried the advice and fixes(sic!) in previous posts.

I'm now looking for alternatives to OneNote on iPad as it's just too frustrating to use with this bug.

Can anyone recommend an alternative?
