One Note keeps switching from drawing (Apple Pencil) to Text Mode. I am using the App on an iPad.

Upgrading to iOS 16.4.1 did not solve the issue for me.

Even turning off scribble doesn’t work effectively. In trying to select a pencil colour I am repeatedly fighting against OneNote trying to force text mode on.

My reproduction steps would even be as simple as opening any page typing in a header, then starting to use an Apple Pencil 2 on the page.

If I change to the lasso tool first, then select a pencil colour I have more success but it is temporary and text mode will always try and force itself on.

My device is an iPad Pro 3rd generation.

This bug really does render OneNote unusable for pencil note taking.

Updating to iOS 16.4.1 solves the problem, Thanks.

The issue still persists after the iOS update to 16.4.1. I already sent the feedback 2 days ago. Help me with this. I had to open and close the One Note app at least 20-30 times an hour while im working on it.
