I have reported this multiple times. Nothing changes.
This is purely a microsoft issue.
I've switched to goodnotes, it works infinitely better.
I've noticed this as well since the last update. I though it was just me at the start but know this wasn't this unusable before.
It makes me look like I dont know what I'm doing in front of clients.

would"t it be much more user friendly for you and your co-workers to inform your related team than writing numerous, more than 25 answers, to us users to do the same. Just inform them that more millions of users have this same problem? Open up a support ticket. Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn.
The issue still persists after the iOS update to 16.4.1. I already sent the feedback 2 days ago. Help me with this. I had to open and close the One Note app at least 20-30 times an hour while im working on it.
I'm facing the same issue on my iPad. This has started since my last recent most update. Kindly fix it as soon as possible.
