Insert online pictures is not working. Does anyone have any ideas to fix my issues? (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Hi there - for me the new user account solved the problem. However, way way back in the thread one of the MVPs said that at that time, it was often a problem with a Microsoft server that would resolve after a few days. Apparently, several people had that type of issue.

However, my problem was persistent and after trying several things and spending a couple of hours on the phone with Microsoft, creating a new user account solved the problem. Which, in turn, tells me that this is definitely a Microsoft problem.

If you have time, please report your issue to MS support. The more people they hear from, the more likely the are to pay attention to the problem.

I assume that you have by this stage had your issue resolved. I have been experiencing this over the past couple of days. However the same issue occurs on my personal laptop and my work laptop, which suggests it is not a problem with the software on my gadgets and is a general Microsoft issue.

I also checked from a different environment in case it was WIFI related, but that is not the case either.

A similar blip occurred several months ago (possibly around March 23) but resolved itself after a few (very frustrating) days.

Based on past comments (and per my own experience) it appears the ‘for sure’ fix is to create a new profile (user account) on your computer.
