I have tried all online fixes but nothing is working; inetcpl.cpl, uninstalling & reinstalling, advanced options internet explorer & updating microsoft office. It just started giving me this error a couple of days ago.

    All -

I had this problem just yesterday. I have Windows 11 Pro with Office 2016 Standard installed.

I was able to insert Online Pictures into Word and Publisher as an Admin but a standard user was not able to do this.

I went to Control Panel, Programs & Features then selected Microsoft Office 2016 Standard in the list of applications.

I then selected Change and performed a REPAIR.

This fixed my problem. Hope this helps.

    Jim

Hi there - for me the new user account solved the problem. However, way way back in the thread one of the MVPs said that at that time, it was often a problem with a Microsoft server that would resolve after a few days. Apparently, several people had that type of issue.

However, my problem was persistent and after trying several things and spending a couple of hours on the phone with Microsoft, creating a new user account solved the problem. Which, in turn, tells me that this is definitely a Microsoft problem.

If you have time, please report your issue to MS support. The more people they hear from, the more likely the are to pay attention to the problem.

    Thanks and Good Luck!

    Ruth
