Enable AI copilot in Office 365

Best you can do is get the latest beta build for office, or both office and windows if you can, and stay up to date.

I've found no source for the PowerPoint registry, but if you copy the tweaks from the sites in my post and just replace word for PowerPoint it miiiight just work (look at the registry route and value, pay special attention to the capitalization).

As far as my progress, I've written a text file that updates the registry to set office to beta channel, adds keys like the ones I shared for all of the apps from Microsoft's announcements, and triggers an update.

Hopefully I can convince my IT guy to run it, as my work computer is currently my main computer.

The Microsoft website says the following to get copilot.

To add Microsoft 365 Copilot in PowerPoint, follow these steps:

Ensure that you have a Microsoft 365 subscription and have the latest version of PowerPoint installed on your device.

Open a new PowerPoint presentation or an existing one.

Click on the “Home” tab in the ribbon at the top of the PowerPoint window.

Look for the “Copilot” button in the “Design” section of the ribbon. It should be located on the right side of the ribbon, next to the “Design Ideas” button.

Click on the “Copilot” button to open the Copilot panel on the right side of the PowerPoint window.

If this is your first time using Copilot, you will be prompted to choose the type of presentation you want to create. Choose the appropriate option and click “Create.”

Copilot will generate a list of design ideas, images, and talking points for your presentation. You can use these suggestions as a starting point for your presentation or customize them to better fit your needs and preferences.

It can be mentioned that it has not been launched for public use and once launched you can follow the steps.
