Dear Support Team
As a result of the recent OneDrive update 23061.0319 (installed on my Mac on the 1st of Apr 2023) OneDrive app won't sync or open on my MacBook Pro (Catalina v10.15.7).
Despite following the steps as (as published in Microsoft Support Centre and also Microsoft Community) OneDrive won't open or function at all.
My feeling is that the new update creates an issue with the Catalina Operating system which unable it to open/function/sync..
Therefore, OneDrive is not working appropriately.
In order to resolve the matter I have followed the below steps and no luck:
Would be highly appreciated if you provide some guidance on the matter.
Many thanks in advance.
Regards
DR

hi there, any update?
I'm having exactly the same issue with my Mac mini running Catalina. Microsoft have done this before with Sierra and High Sierra, but at least last time they were open about it:
I had a perfectly good Macbook Air which I couldn't upgrade past High Sierra and eventually had to trade in when Onedrive stopped working. Now I may be faced with the same thing for my desktop machine, but this time with no warning. It's really a despicable way to treat your customers. I see that one kind soul has posted a fix later in this thread, so I'll try that first.
I have the same issue as Michael. For a fix I am deleting OneDrive each time I start up my computer. Then download the app again and launch. OneDrive then works for the day but as soon as I shut down it stops working and a repeat the above. Not a great work around but all I can do for now as my OneDrive is a shared platform and I need daily access to updated documents.
I am also having this issue, 2012 Apple MacBook Air 13" on MacOS 10.15 Catalina, I have another Mac Mini 2012 that has identical problem. 2020 MacBook Air M1 on Ventura works without issues.
FIX THIS MICROSOFT, how does this slip passed QA of the latest releases? GET A PM ON THIS.
Thank you. This worked out perfectly. In my case the OneDrive Updater did not show up, though.
