Excel copy paste in outlook not show color

We have duplicated this issue and can add some data points.

255.0.0, 0.255.0, 0.0.255, 255.255.0, 255.0.255, 0.255.255, 255.255.255, and 0.0.0 all paste from Excel to Outlook with white fill. We don't care if 255.255.255 pastes as white because that is our intent. It looks like it's reading any full value in all RGB locations as 255, so 0=255 and 255=255. A fill value of 254.255.255 fills as 254.255.255. Whatever conversion that is happening is interpreting fully saturated or desaturated colors as 255.255.255

Been having this same issue as well for the past week. I've found that the ONLY fix so far is to use a slightly different hue of the color you want and copy and paste works. Rather frustrating, as this is just a workaround that requires me to change the conditional formatting of myriad reports--but it's a workaround nonetheless. WYA, Microsoft Support?

Got the same issue stated. Copying into Outlook from Excel removes Yellow/Red color from Cells. Excel to Word is not working too. Looking for an actual solution to this.

Same issue red and yellow will not paste to an email.

Just tried a slightly different yellow shade and it will paste over.

After Office update to version Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2302 Build 16.0.16130.20298) 64-bit

When copy paste form excel it's no color Red and Yellow.

I am facing the exact same issue since 23rd March.

Reinstalled MS Office but still facing issue on desktop app.

On Outlook web it is working fine.
