also not working here - when can we expect an updated version?

I have had Office 365, including OneDrive running on this Mac for several years. Yesterday, OneDrive updated itself (I have the Microsoft AutoUpdater set to automatically download and install updates) to version 23.061.0319. Following that update, it will not run.
I click on the icon in the launchpad, nothing happens
I click on the icon within Finder->Applications, nothing happens
I do not get an error message, there is nothing in the system log, it does not show up in application monitor, it seems to be just dead.
Here is what the system says about the OneDrive.app:
OneDrive:
Version: 23.061.0319
Obtained from: Identified Developer
Last Modified: 4/3/23, 3:18 PM
Signed by: Developer ID Application: Microsoft Corporation (UBF8T346G9), Developer ID Certification Authority, Apple Root CA
Location: /Applications/OneDrive.app
Kind: 64-bit
If I run Microsoft AutoUpdate, this is what it shows for Microsoft products:
None of the Office products is up to date (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook). They are all on version 16.66 because the next version, 16.71 requires an OS Update, which will never come, because this macbook (Macbook Air, mid 2012) is too old and Catalina 10.15.7 is the most upgraded it can get.
Only OneDrive is up to date, v23061.0319, installed yesterday on 4/3/2023.
What can I do to get back to a previous version of OneDrive so that it works??? This sucks that it did not recognize that the most current version is not compatible with my laptop.

Guess what......they broke it again. OneDrive 23.250.1203 broke it all again today. It automatically updated to this and it is dead.
Catalina 10.15.7
MS 365 16.61
MS Autoupdater 4.66
OneDrive 23.250.1203
NO release notes for this version. Of course.
Same problem here... Does a genius know the answer?
Not sure how long it will work for but I'm on day two after reinstalling the build that worked previously that was suggested by Aaron_TX
OneDrive build 23.081.0416.001
If you don't have it saved: https://oneclient.sfx.ms/Mac/Installers/23.081.0416.0001/universal/OneDrive.pkg
(not sure if this still downloads the correct build since I used the version I had saved from last time)
Hoping for a newer version, but may try that one. Gotta keep their auto-updater from killing it.
It’s maddening. They support Windows 7! But not Catalina. All the installer needs to do is 1) look at the OS version and 2) if it sees Catalina, ignore it. Grrrr
Or, let us control OneDrive like all the other 365 apps. 🙄
