I have had Office 365, including OneDrive running on this Mac for several years. Yesterday, OneDrive updated itself (I have the Microsoft AutoUpdater set to automatically download and install updates) to version 23.061.0319. Following that update, it will not run. I click on the icon in the launchpad, nothing happens I click on the icon within Finder->Applications, nothing happens I do not get an error message, there is nothing in the system log, it does not show up in application monitor, it seems to be just dead. Here is what the system says about the OneDrive.app: OneDrive: Version: 23.061.0319 Obtained from: Identified Developer Last Modified: 4/3/23, 3:18 PM Signed by: Developer ID Application: Microsoft Corporation (UBF8T346G9), Developer ID Certification Authority, Apple Root CA Location: /Applications/OneDrive.app Kind: 64-bit If I run Microsoft AutoUpdate, this is what it shows for Microsoft products: None of the Office products is up to date (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook). They are all on version 16.66 because the next version, 16.71 requires an OS Update, which will never come, because this macbook (Macbook Air, mid 2012) is too old and Catalina 10.15.7 is the most upgraded it can get. Only OneDrive is up to date, v23061.0319, installed yesterday on 4/3/2023. What can I do to get back to a previous version of OneDrive so that it works??? This sucks that it did not recognize that the most current version is not compatible with my laptop.

Hi Tim,

Thanks for the info, but the link you sent does not have any versions listed for OneDrive, which is what I have the issue with.

Second, it appears that there is some piece of OneDrive that gets launched and cannot be stopped. I have always had OneDrive set to autostart. The past two days, my laptop would not shut down, instead it would just sit with the spinning wheel until I held the power button down. Then I changed the OneDrive to not autostart and then I can shut down. / restart my laptop with out any issues.

I am going to dump the system to see what thread is launched by OneDrive before the bulk of the package fails and see if I can recover a previous version of the package files for OneDrive files from my Time Machine.

it helped for a while

I have installed with the file above

After some settings such as folder to sync, it disappeared from the Top Right Bar Menu and refused to start again

Also after few several restarts

I did upgrade from Mojave to Catalina (as the last possible macOS on MacBook Pro 2012)

Please help
