hi! how do you add yourself as the owner of the process to block??

Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I have had Office 365, including OneDrive running on this Mac for several years. Yesterday, OneDrive updated itself (I have the Microsoft AutoUpdater set to automatically download and install updates) to version 23.061.0319. Following that update, it will not run.
I click on the icon in the launchpad, nothing happens
I click on the icon within Finder->Applications, nothing happens
I do not get an error message, there is nothing in the system log, it does not show up in application monitor, it seems to be just dead.
Here is what the system says about the OneDrive.app:
OneDrive:
Version: 23.061.0319
Obtained from: Identified Developer
Last Modified: 4/3/23, 3:18 PM
Signed by: Developer ID Application: Microsoft Corporation (UBF8T346G9), Developer ID Certification Authority, Apple Root CA
Location: /Applications/OneDrive.app
Kind: 64-bit
If I run Microsoft AutoUpdate, this is what it shows for Microsoft products:
None of the Office products is up to date (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook). They are all on version 16.66 because the next version, 16.71 requires an OS Update, which will never come, because this macbook (Macbook Air, mid 2012) is too old and Catalina 10.15.7 is the most upgraded it can get.
Only OneDrive is up to date, v23061.0319, installed yesterday on 4/3/2023.
What can I do to get back to a previous version of OneDrive so that it works??? This sucks that it did not recognize that the most current version is not compatible with my laptop.

Catalina user here
I had the same issue. I uninstalled latest version, also cleaned all my Onedrive firewall rules.
I installed 23.002.0102.0004.
I went to the MS Autoupdater, and set autoupdate to off.
I launched and now it's working back. Will update if troubles.
Didn't have to kill any process, the updtater doesn't even appear.
Good luck
Would you mind sharing the older version as i cannot find it...
This old file is definitely working!
Direct links to Microsoft downloads are sending us to the recent version (incompatible).
I made sure to delete the four OneDrive updaters (available on -> right click -> show content)
Hope it works now (again!)
