A family of Microsoft spreadsheet software with tools for analyzing, charting, and communicating data
It appears that this issue while using DFS on our network is present in version 2209.
Are there any other suggestions?
Thanks
Dave

Same issue in our office. All users with O365. It started over this past weekend (07/09/2022). Only Excel files when doing a Save As, Browse. Some users experience it with File Open.
All other applications work without issue. Nothing in event viewer shows any problems.

We have not found any permanent solutions. Still at the mercy of MS Developers to recognize the problem and fix.
I'm seeing Excel trying to connect to our domain controllers on port 80, not the file servers.
Added an outbound port 80 block rule to clients and Excel save dialog pops up instantly.
For anyone interested in this, we've had a response logging this through our Microsoft Premier Support agreement.
I've bene advised that this is fixed in the Beta Channel release 2211. Not had a chance to validate this as we are running the Monthly Enterprise Channel (fix ETA Jan 23, Current Channel fix ETA Dec).
We have the Web Client disabled and the current user seeing the most issues has informed me that it is only intermittent now. She is on Release 2209.
