Has anyone purchased Microsoft Office Pro 2021 from StackSocial

Stacksocial is advertising Microsoft Office Pro 2021 with LIfetime License. Is this legit? Are they authorized to sell it?

For those who did purchase anything from Stacksocial.. please take a look at your credit card statement or transactions after 1-3 weeks, and see if any none approved charges were made. over the course of 2 months.

i am not blaming Stacksocial directly, however, it happens just after i made my 1st purchase from Stacksocial.

my creditcard was used for 12 unauthorized purchases from multiple vendors i never went to. Apple.com was one. i will not mention the others for privacy concerns.

coincident? maybe.. i did my due-diligence...before posting..

    Ron Barker - I contacted StackSocial to return the license I purchased after reading your comments but you are incorrect. MS does sell a single license. StackSocial assured me that their license is legit, but I asked to return it under their 30 day guarantee. They didn't give my money back but gave me a site credit. This is the single license sold at MS https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/microsoft-365/p/office-professional-2021/CFQ7TTC0HHJ9?activetab=pivot:overviewtab

    Anne, Microsoft does not sell Office Professional Pro Plus versions of Office as they are volume based. In fact they no longer sell Professional Pro Plus at all.

    PS: yes Microsoft does sell Office Professional 2021 (not pro plus) as per your link Buy Microsoft Office Professional 2021 - Download Key & Pricing NOTE the price $439.99. It is a retail version, not a volume based version, which were paid for by subscription.

    This means you can purchase on StackSocial Office Pro Plus with same Apps as Office Professional for a few dollars (not sure how many) when Microsoft sells Office Professional for $439.99.

    Keep in mind RB's review of this is from the UK. Not the US. That might be a potential issue if the software is restricted or licensed for use in the US.

    Hi Anant, yes I am from the UK, or more precisely in relation to licences, the European Economic Area. However, Microsoft gets around the differences by only allowing use of the software by associating it with a Microsoft Account. According to European law users can transfer Office to another person just as a copyrighted book, or a copyrighted DVD/CD, which you can sell to another person. But with Office you cannot do this because you cannot transfer the Microsoft Account to another person.

    Also please note that Microsoft does not sell Office software, it only sells the licence to use it. Why would anyone think that Microsoft would sell Office licences to companies like StackSocial as knock down prices in competition with their own licences.
